Monday 18/11/2013

Well... here it goes

I am going to try and be as honest as possible whereas before I have tried to just BS my way through saying oh well ive been eating well (while stuffing chocolate in my face) and I don't understand why im not losing weight... well screw it i might as well give this a go.

Height: 5'9''
Old weight: 18st 3.5lbs
New weight: 18st 1.5lbs
Total loss: 2lbs

I am really chuffed with this. As of Friday I had lost 3lbs but I went out this weekend to my best friends house and had a night in on the Friday and went out on the Saturday. There was much alcohol involved and many treats (non of them vaguely healthy) involved so I am very pleased with a 2lb loss.

Today was a bit of a fail in terms of diet but I am trying to pull it back at dinner.

Breakfast:

Original Muller Rice

Lunch:

Tuna Melt Panini
Prawn cocktail crisps
little chocolate snowman

Dinner:

Having a 1/3 of a salmon wellington with loads of salad (iceburg lettuce and cucumber) with Paul Newmans Ranch Salad.

Hope everyone is well.

I think I am really suffering from the dancing part of my weekend as my quads and my ankle are really sore. I have had another nap today and haven't been active at all apart from running to a meeting as I was late.

Tomorrow should be fun as I am up at 6am...

Attempt... Who knows...

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Lots of things have happened. None of which are really worth a mention. I kind of fell of the weightloss wagon and I have pretty much put on all of the weight that I lost from juicing and insanity but I'm ready to start again.

Facts
I am now 25
Still 5'9''
Weigh 18st 3lbs
My first goal is 16st 3lbs

I am doing this with the great support of my fiancé my family and my best friend who is trying to drop her final 10lbs so wish her luck as well. She has done SO well.

This week I have tried to limit myself to carbs once a day just to kick start everything so I am going to try and take photos of everything I eat and post it on here.

Also I am trying to do insanity once a day too.

Today I didn't take the photos but I did the insanity fit test

Breakfast and lunch: mint Herbalife shake
Snacks: 2 handfuls of roasted cashew nuts
Dinner: 2 slices of margarita pizza with a massive salad
Drinks: 4 pints of sugar free black currant squash.

Tomorrow I'm at uni so should be fun.

Update

Hey everyone,

This week has been full of ups and downs.

I started juicing on Monday and had 3 juices but by Monday afternoon I was struck down by terrible headaches and i have been like this ever since... I have never felt pain like it and I think this may have been part of a detox. Who knows.

Anyway I have managed to lose 7lbs since Monday and I am going to continue but I can't face another juice for a while tho.

Shopping!

Right well today I have bought so much fruit and veg for juicing tomorrow.

Can you believe how much I have bought?! Is there anyone else that has done juicing that has any words of wisdom?

So this includes
  • 3 pineapples
  • 10 apples
  • 3 yellow peppers
  • 2 'bulbs' of celery
  • 2 sticks of broccoli
  • 5 lemons
  • 5 beetroots
  • 600g spinach
  • 2 honeydew melons
  • 3'' ginger
  • parsley
  • 4 cucumbers
I am so excited and very nervous at the same time!!

Getting ready to start!!

Right well today I am planning on starting the Joe Cross juicing diet. My auntie has done so well and I have been struggling with so many different diets and its not really worked.

As of today I weigh 18st 4 3/4 lbs. So we shall see. I now have 10 pages of recipes and a juicer, all is left is to go and buy the fruit and veggies.

I have no idea where to start apart from this though....
